Why are we talking about this again?

Poor, Alex Rodriguez. I'm not the only one who saw the guy hit a game tying homerun last night off one of the best closers in baseball with 2 outs in the 9th right? Alex accomplishes a feat like that, helping his team win, and this is what I see the next day from respected ESPN analyst Ian O'Connor (whom I respect greatly):

With the ball streaking like a comet across the black Bronx night, making Yankee Stadium quake like the old place always did, Alex Rodriguez flipped his bat, shot a look-at-me-now stare into the home dugout, and left this baffling question in his wake:

Why did he ever feel compelled to use "boli" in the first place?

Seriously?
Now, if you read the article, Ian goes on to praise Rodriguez, but at the end basically says "hey he made a mistake and is now forever linked to Bonds, Sosa, and McGwire." Yeah, old news. But seriously, the guy accomplishes a great feat and then the next day the steroid talk starts again? People, get over it. The guy did steroids, he's not the only one. A-Rod admitted he did it, he didn't dog around it (unless you include the Katie Couric interview). He admitted it and apologized. Most of all, he won a championship. You would think that would at least put away the steroid talk. Look, no one cares about steroids anymore, it's not a surprise when someone tests positive. Alex made a mistake and that's that, but bringing it up after he helps his team to a big win is unnecessary. I'm not saying Ian O'Connor is an unintelligent guy, he's a great writer, but I don't feel that talking about steroids was right at the time.
